A fascinating subject, Larry. As you say, the lighting is challenging.
The third image (almost B/W) probably shows the bridge best of all but
the sky is subdued. If you could get the sky more like the last image it
would be greatly improved. BTW, you work?

I'd appreciate feedback on these intermediate steps, what works, what
doesn't, what I need to tone down or dial up and I'll beat on them
again in a few days when I get back. I think they've got some
promise, but it'll take work to bring them out. It's rather
challenging lighting.
