Of note, my favourites are: 28 f3.5 35 f3.5 55 f1.8 exceptional at f8 50 f1.4 better performance at wider apertures 85 f1.8 105 f2.8 135 f2.5 the f3.5 is good as well 200 f4 All these are readily available, with the exception of the fast 85 and 135, for little money. Performance wise, I doubt that you could put together a better set, based on overall quality, from any manufacturer except the Pentax "K" series which are optically identical. The older Super Takumars are excellent as well. The reason that you will find a lot of lenses for the screwmount Pentaxes is that they were the most popular camera in the world at their time of manufacture.
