I've had that scanner for a while. IIRC, I got it while I was still running the mini-lab for ******. I haven't worked there for eleven years now.

I had some idea at the time of doing freelance Photoshop work "restoring" old photos.

I have the Epson V750 pro where the whole top lights up when scanning negatives & slides.

I sometimes need to scan negatives that don't fit the regular holder; really OLD family photos taken on dog only knows what kind of camera ... probably one of those old Kodak pocket folders.

I got a package of 65# black card stock and use that to frame the negatives on the scanner bed. Don't even have to cut it. I can make the frame by just overlapping several sheets leaving a hole in the middle the size of the negative I want to scan.

I've looked everywhere.. managed to mislay the gadget that holds 4 35mm slides in place...  I don't need the part that holds 2 film strips, just the slide holder and I haven't seen them cheap on ebay except from China and that may never get here these days.  Anyone have it and  don't use it? or would lend it to me for a while?

OR use your psychic powers to find mine.
If your scanner is like mine, is there any chance you could make a frame up yourself with cardboard and and X-acto?
