My daughter recently had to do something similar.

She had her roommate take a dozen shots (with my daughter’s K-50), and my 
daughter sent me the DNG files. It was a simple matter to touch up the best two 
and crop them to the required size in Lightroom, convert to JPG, and email back 
to her.
