Fun story! That's funny how people give names to the wild creatures.

Glad to hear that the fire-situation is improving for you, - I am thinking about you every time I am listening to the news on the radio or TV.

As I was riding past the Happy Valley Conference center I saw some turkeys foraging on the lawn, so I grabbed my camera, mounted the 55-300 and got some photos. About the time I was done, A woman, holding a walkie talkie, asks me if she can help me in a very "what are you doing at my place, and I'd better like the answer" tone of voice. When I mentioned that I was photographing turkeys she said "Oh, Gertrude and her two babies" and became a lot friendlier.
