Do you think that reading shutter speeds from LCD panel is more confusing that from imprinted digits on shutter speed dial? Strange - for me it is far easier to read BIG digits from LCD panel that small imprinted ones - especially when you are 50 years old, and eyes are not as good as it was before... And you can light LCD panel in the dark, when imprinted digits readout is impossible. Anyway setting shutter speeds on MZ-S is really simple - you just turn main control dial. And BTW you have 1/2 EV step.
