Just to add to this thought, this was at a time when the only
pros using 35mm were war photographers. The bread and butter
cameras that were in use by the most photojournalists and
wedding/ portrait photographers were things like Speed Graphics
and studio view cameras.
35mm was NOT considered a format for professional photography
until well into the 1960's. Film just wasn't good enough to make
enlargements from the 35mm format.
