I think the 'problem' here is that while the MZ-S is 'significantly' *underpriced*, the Z1P was MASSIVELY **underpriced** due to the fact Pentax had to drop the price in order to sell any Z1's. This arguably now makes the MZ-S 'seem' expensive in comparison. To my mind the people who see it as expensive overlook the fact that build quality costs and tend to be 'features people'.
