I am with Pentax because when I started photography I was using a borrowed
A3000. When I went camera shopping for my own, it just naturally occured to
me to pick Pentax. Now that I have so many accessories and what not, I
can't leave Pentax, which I want to due but cannot financially. Reason?
Here in London it's impossible to get anything I want without waiting a
month. I see the stock of the stores and there is a tiny pile for Pentax,
slightly larger one for Minolta, and two HUGE piles of Nikon and Canon. The
reps that came to a show only brought lenses that I could have seen in the
store, nothing prime, nothing telephoto. Plus, how many books do you see
that illustrate gear or whatever with Pentax. VERY FEW. I know the Nikon
system because I read so damned much about it. *Sigh*
