Technically, the 90 is a wide angle I suppose. But not really, sort of like calling the 43mm LTD a wide angle. The flash sync issue is pretty much a non starter for me anyway. There is only a stop difference between the 6x7 and 645 shutters. Neither body is especially good for outdoor fill flash, and the slow sync won't be an issue in any other situation (at least none that I have encountered) For me, the camera issues are motorized advance (nice feature on the 645), the viewfinder (nice feature on the 6x7), and how the camera handles. The autofocus isn't on my list, but it may be very important to others. Handling is a personal thing, one which the individual user must decide on, but both handle very nicely. In the side by side comparison I did, I thought both the 645NII and the 6x7II were equally nice, just different. I think if ultimate image quality is the most important thing, then the bigger negative will give the edge to the 6x7 if one looks hard enough. I don't know how hard that is though, as I have not compared images from both cameras. I do have a hard time telling 6x7 from 4x5 at 11x14 inch prints, and big prints from my Bronica aren't quite as nice as my 6x7 stuff, but it's not that big a deal, and I don't know if the Bronica glass is that inferior to the newer Pentax glass.
