I agree, however, people tell me that some of them have a good focus feel,
and I'm willing to believe it after I picked up an FA28/2.8. Sure, the
focus ring is kinda wee, but its got a nice, fluid feel to it.

It makes me excited to pick up an FA50/1.4, next, which should feel as
good. A decent 100mm (I'm hoping for an FA100/2.8 macro) will complete the
kit, and I'm hoping the chosen lens has a nice, smooth ring to it, as
well.

I can deal with little rings, as long as its not as sloppy as the 28-70/4
(and more so teh FA35-80/4-5.6 I had before that).
