I'm not a big fan of the manual focus feel of the F 35-70 and F 100-300 zooms, but the FA* 200/2.8 has just about the best "feel" of any lens I've used (never used any M42 lenses). If I ever find (and can afford) an FA* 200/4 Macro or FA* 400/5.6, I'll report on them. :-) TTYL, DougF KG4LMZ
