Why do that when you have native Ruby clients that can talk to ActiveMQ?
And further why use web services for message queueing?  That just seems
like scaryland.

My understanding of the original post was "is there a way to do
JMS-style message queueing without actually running ActiveMQ", but
please correct me if that's wrong, Phil.
