Mark,
If you have a current Expedition version, send these to PADS first. From PADS exports in ASCII 3.5, Then into protel, Usually works, but takes a little cleanup.

I need to translate a few Mentor schematics (Viewlogic) and PADS PowerPCB PCB files to Protel 2004. Can anyone on the forum suggest an economical means of doing so?
I have access to both the Mentor and PowerPCB software, but any files, even the Pads ascii files I export from them are not recognizable by Protel 2004
