Mark,
For the PADs PowerPCB files, you save them from PADs in 3.5 format
Ascii. They will then import into DXP 2002 SP2 or higher, quite well.
Sorry the rest I can't help you on.

I need to translate a few Mentor schematics (Viewlogic) and PADS PowerPCB PCB
files to Protel 2004. Can anyone on the forum suggest an economical means of
doing so?
I have access to both the Mentor and PowerPCB software, but any files, even the
Pads ascii files I export from them are not recognizable by Protel 2004
