Hamid,
Please don't interject your words or thoughts on my behalf. I never
made any statements which account for your comments below. I simply mentioned
improved support and if you go to most any other package you will find similar
numbers of issues/bugs and complaints. So there are no packages which don't
require support, only some users that require that support. Also note, FPGA is
not part of the core tools I speak of so that is completely out of context with
my comments.
Not that I have anything against your comments but I get real irked
when others profess to speak for me but have misconstrued my comments to where
I can't recognize them.
Sincerely,
Brad Velander

That is why, like you, I am in the market for something better. The
problem is that I have not yet found anything that is better than 99SE
for most of the stuff I do.
Let me leave you with one final thought about Altium's customer support.
You consider Altium to have great support. Would you rather work with
a company that has a large number of customers enthusiastic about its
great customer support, or one whose customer support quality is unknown
because no one ever needs to use the customer support? In other words,
having a reputation for having great customer support is a serious check
mark against the quality of the company's product.
Regards,
Hamid
