To schedule the AVG scanner to your liking, open a command line window,
navigate to the AVG directory and run "avgscan /?". You can set up a scan
exactly how you want it, test it from the command line, then schedule it
with the Windows scheduler. I have the AVG built-in scheduler disabled.

If you also want to schedule the update, try "avginet". You can write a
batch file that first calls avginet and then avgscan with the desired
options. Then schedule that file to run whenever you want. Don't forget to
insert a long enough wait between the two commands, though, as avginet
returns immediately to the command line, even though the update is not
complete yet.
