I just learned my 3D modeling tool, Alibre, won't run with XP Pro
64. This forces me back to a 32bit OS. Maybe MS plans better 32bit
support in Vista and XP Pro 64 is a patch until then?

I'm thinking about it too, but I've heard that the nanoboard won't work
because of parallel port issues. That's the only problem I've heard about so
far.

Subject: [PEDA] New PC / XP Pro 64 / P99SE
Hi,
I'm in the PC market and I'm considering an AMD Athlon 64 Socket 939
processor , XP Pro 64 OS, XFX Force GeForce Video (6600GT, 6800, or
6800GT). I'm running Protel 99SE.
Do any of you run XP Pro 64? Any troubles with Protel or other
applications?
Thanks,
Steve
