Ian, We're still using P99SE. However I've been very interested in the ability of DXP to embed PCBs (for this very situation) as it's one of the feature improvements that would move me to upgrade. Have you (or anyone else on the list) used this feature? Is there a limit to the number of instances of an embedded PCB one can use? If we embed 20-30 instances in a panel, should I expect that it will slow my computer to a crawl?
Brad Velander's suggestion to make a "dummy" component and correct the primitives there before updating the panel should work. Thanks Brad, Ian and Andrew for your suggestions. In DXP on you can embed PCBs into a panel with step an repeats. When you do it this way any change made on the initial PCB is reflected on th panel ad also the gerbers when generated.
