Phyllis, my suggestion for getting an affordable copy of Stjernfelts
Diagrammatology is to create an account with Springer online, sign up for
email notices, and then wait until they have a sale on selected e-books,
which they often do. I bought a PDF of it at a reasonable price when
Springer (out of the blue) emailed me a coupon that I could apply to any
e-book of theirs. I read it with Adobe Digital Editions and Adobe Reader. I
think Frederik chose Docent Press for Natural Propositions because their
prices for the print book are much more reasonable than Springers (and
theres no need to read Diagrammatology first).
By the way, theres now a Kindle edition of the Peirce Writings Vol. 8. Also
of Søren Briers Cybersemiotics, which makes it much more affordable than it
used to be. Besides, e-books are searchable, which I find extremely useful;
and the Kindle app for your computer is free.

I've ordered Natural Propositions, but Diagrammatology is very expensive
(yes, I know my last book was priced even more outrageously high). Does
anyone know where I might secure a relatively inexpensive copy? I very much
want to read it.
