I don;t see any problem.  I was just representing the idea of generality for a 
non-relative term per the formula Peirce gives.
It was also useful to construct it as a self-relative in order to convey the 
idea. The addendum regarding reinterpretation of the "+" sign followed 
naturally in so far as subscript numerals function in the representation as 
indices or names of the individuals they are attached to. ( as a logical sum 
they are cardinals,)
