Here I’m less interested in Peirce’s religion than how his particular cosmology 
adopts certain neoplatonic tropes.

I should add so far as I know there is zero evidence Peirce knew of Kabbalism. 
Interestingly while I mentioned Moshe Idel he has used Peirce to try and 
understand elements of Kabbalism. I’ve not really studied the history of that 
since college so I’m not a good source on that. But Idel thinking that Peirce’s 
synechism as a way of thinking of Kabbalism is a pretty good sign there are at 
least structural affinities between the two movements. (I’d imagine these arise 
indirectly via how Peirce transforms Spinoza) I think list member Gary Fuhrman 
at one time wrote on these topics. I don’t know if he’s still active on the 
list.
