As I said, I was also invited to GMU as well as the NYU Austrian seminar, they knew in advance that I would be critical of Austrian and have very different policy views. Both seminars were very well attended (Israel Kirzner came to the NYU one), we had great discussions, etc. On the other hand, I have never been invited to present at the New School (my alma mater) even though I have done research on Heilbroner and Adolph Lowe (Heilbroner's teacher), nor have I ever been invited to any of the other (progressive, leftish) heterodox grad schools, with the exception of Utah. Go figure.
