That's true.  Levy's also a real character.  I know he organizes the
conference because of the discussions, but he is also quite concerned
about the quality of the coffee they serve.  He really likes Peet's
coffee and, despite there being thirty or so people there, prepares it
in a French Press in small batches.  Last time, he had evidently
trained some of the grad students in this so he didn't have to do it
himself, but he checked often on their progress.  Whatever our
ideological differences, I have a lot of respect for his commitment in
this regard.  I only part ways with him here in that I think he needs
to use a coarser grind.
