Maybe! But, the destruction of the Earth need not be the only reason, either. We do not even know if there is capitalism on some other planet at this time. What I am objecting is making similarly objectionable statements in the name of objecting to the doom-sayers (I happen to be a doom-sayer, as you may recall). We just don't know when and why capitalism will go down, although it is guaranteed that one day on Earth, it will go down, if for nothing, for the reason you mentioned, because it is guaranteed that the Earth will not be here one day, although I expect that capitalism will go down way before than that. And I cannot get more precise than that because I don't know the future. Mine is just a subjective expectation.
