That refers to "the coming of socialism!" You and I agree on that if we don't bring socialism, it will not come. But, capitalism will go down one day. That one is guaranteed. Whether either socialism or barbarism will come after that is not known at this moment. Both are reasonably high probability future events. But there are other possibilities, too.
