one thing that would be an improvement would be to have a clear
mission statement ("principles of unity" in old lingo) and trustees
that make sure that the operating board obeyed that statement.
In my experience, _all_ non-profits need to be audited (from more than
one direction) to keep them honest. They should be embedded in the
larger society.
