I am with Julio on this one: sure mortgage relief is unpopular, but
resentment of the Wall St bankers appears to be even more unpopular.
So if taxpayers had to choose between two (admittedly bad) options, I
think they would favor the poor rather than the rich. Has anyone done
a poll on the subject? It'd be very interesting.
