But the poor are not the ones filling the political coffers and this bailout is obviously not to be democratically decided by all taxpayers. This is simply another example of the capitalist political machine in progress, where money buys elections and the state in turn sponsors socialism for the rich and powerful when the sh*t hits the fan.
