I'm with Doyle on this. A phony "center-left" Obama administration
would accomplish nothing in its 16 month interregnum until the
inevitable sharp center-right-turn correction for the congressional
mid-terms. Events, not personnel, are going to determine whether Obama
can restore the neo-liberal hegemony.

This is the Clinton-costume-party phase of the drama. But we're not in
Kansas, any more, Toto. And it's not 1992 all over again.
