It's about time I got some credit for my education! ;-)

I did _not_ say that Julio was apologizing or lying. I referred only
to one alternative response to Obama.

For the record, I wrote: >how do "we" avoid botching it? by

As a rule -- a rule which I stick to religiously[*] -- I do not
criticize individuals on pen-l. Rather, I criticize specific
statements or general attitudes or positions. Above, I do the latter.
My comments are _not_ aimed at the person to whom I am responding as
much as to the other people who are reading the thread.

[*] This means that sometimes I backslide, like all followers of religion.
