On Jan 6, 2009, at 12:46 PM, Julio Huato asks:

How does it help us to ignore the struggle inside the DP, of which
Krugman's opinions are an expression?

The "inside" of the Dumbocratic Party--a "party" with no members--is even harder to find than the "struggle" within it

To say that the DP is a bourgeois political formation is an
abstraction. The truth -- as grandpa Hegel wrote -- is concrete...

And the concrete truth is that the Dumbocrats (like the Repugnicons) is a bunch of corrupt swindlers, not a "party" in any sense that a Marxist would recognize as such. As Koko put it, "apologetic statesmen of a compromising kind..."

...Just in the last year, the DP was the vehicle
for the election of a Black candidate to the presidency...

Colin Powell by another name...

... Blah blah! Oh, and also blah!

This cosmos did none of gods or men make, but it
always was and is and shall be: an everlasting fire,
kindling in measures and going out in measures."
