In other words, since masses of people support the new War Criminal-in-Chief (partially as a relief from the nightmare of the last War Criminal-in-Chief) you think we should endorse the electronic Nuremburg rally for U.S. imperialism. Because that is what it was, an electronic ralley for the "New" Empire. If one result of electing America's first African American president is that people of color are more likely to support U.S. imperialism and violence then we should count this as a bad result. The U.S. empire was suffering a massive crisis at home and abroad, and it is Obama's job to pretty up the image so U.S. corporations can get on with their business. He says it is his job and you seem to support him doing it. The cultural-historical significance of this event is not in doubt. But the fact is Obama is the chief executive of the ruling class and has no intention to be anything else. It is our job to make sure that we tell people he has taken up this position, no matter how unpopular we will be in the telling.
