By the way, BHO has to betray someone. I know, I've probably told
pen-l that I avoid the word "betray." But existence of a broad
coalition of people (including a lot who are left of the current
center of US politics) who expect the world from Obama reminds me of a
comment by Jim O'Connor in his book about Cuba.

In the early 1960s, a lot of people pointed the finger at Castro and
yelled "betrayal!" O'Connor's response was that 95% of the Cubans
supported the revolution (approximate number, from memory). But given
the fundamental conflicts within Cuban society _someone_ had to be
betrayed.
