I have a hard time believing that Black voters would leave the DP,
unless there is a third party. Most vote and the GOP is significantly
less attractive to Blacks. Maybe fewer would vote, but those who
continued to do so would likely go for the DP, following standard
lesser of two evils logic. Would Black voters go to the right? it
depends on what "right" means. In some ways, the "left" is defined as
urban, pro-welfare state, pro-public education, etc. It's hard to see
Blacks abandoning that. -- J
