CB: Black voters look a lot better than white voters. Comment Some of this is because blacks tend to dress up for any event, and any occasion can become a venue for a fashion statement. I get dressed up every Monday to take out the trash, just in case. Black voters since Roosevelt tend to doggedly cling to the Democrats. Black voters clung to the Clinton administration beyond comprehension and this was made manifest in the presidential primary. Black as a voting mass were the last to abandon Senator Hillary Clinton [presidential ambitions. Remember when Obama's wife Michelle stated that blacks were the last to get on the Obama bandwagon? Obama's politics of new bipartisanship is splitting the Democratic Party. No matter what the outcome in 2012, if blacks as a voting mass - a category I suspect is breaking down into economic categories, cling to the Obama administration, the question in my mind is "how is this qualitatively different from clinging to any Democratic President? In fact I will wager that blacks as a voting mass will be registered to have clung to the Clinton administration more than Obama. Not to be funny or anything brother, but you started attacking the left six months in front of the Obama administration. And I say this out of big love, but one must try and be honest about real time politics. Electing Obama - a black man, was a very big thing to me in my read of the history of American politics. The voting section of the working class proved something to itself, rather than me. In Detroit you know we vote communist and socialist every chance we get and most certainly when conditions make it possible for a mass campaign. The thing about Obama is the thing about any politician. After the last inaugural dance the party is over. This happens to be true with any party. The last dance means leave and get ready for the next day. WL.
