Agreed, down the line.

I want to add something that was critical and that was 
Newtonian physics plus the Enlightenment understanding of
the `science' of society. 

These were also part of the movement from a subjective world
of belief systems into an `objective' or materialized conception of society and 
human `nature'. 

Part of the problem with Marx, was he was a polymath and he touched all kinds 
of ideas and conceptions that it makes him difficult to follow---yet adds to 
his continuing contributions...
