Liberals fight over what Democrats are doing because it's the only game in town. How many Greens are there is Congress? Zero. Maoists? Zero. Trotskyists? Zero. Anarchists? Zero. Democrats are on the playing field; that's why people care what they say and do. The "anti-Democratic Left" is not on the playing field, so no-one cares what they say and do.
