How much time have Maoists, Trotskyists, Greens, anarchists, and the rest of the thumb-sucking ultra-left wasted? I was at a meeting of peace activists in Los Angeles recently and was forced to patiently endure while a woman gave a long rant about how important it was for us to introduce Americans to the writings of Bob Avakian. Why is the ultra-left so tolerant of ultra-left drivel, if it is so concerned about wasting people's time?
