This is tiresome. For the record, this was my only mention of Bloomberg:

"Not all capitalists outside the coal, gas and oil industries are wedded to
fossil fuels and unconcerned about their disruptive and potentially
catastrophic effects. Bloomberg is a prominent spokesperson of this growing
wing of the bourgeoisie.”

I didn’t say these bourgeois environmentalists had a “fundamentally sound
program”. I was alluding to the programs of mass organizations which enjoy
popular support. Here the problem is rarely the program in itself, but the
commitment of the leadership to the program and how far they’re prepared to go
in pursuit of it. This is what I wrote in reference to your empty rhetoric:

"This sounds like the kind of abstract left boilerplate I’ve been accustomed to
hearing when leftists who want to “separate decisively” from the liberal/social
democratic leadership of a trade union, environmental, civil rights, or other
mass-based organization are unable to identify a clear and coherent demand or
set of demands to counterpose to fundamentally sound programs. The real points
of division are typically the specific content which is put into the demands as
well as the determination of the strategy to realize the program.”

But I agree we’ve come to an impasse, and that we need to move on.
