There was no sector of the capitalist class that favored a continuation 
of the social, political and economic institutions we associate with the 
New Deal. That is the explanation for both New Labour and the DLC. It is 
not that difficult to glean what the capitalist class is for or against. 
All you need to do is check who is giving money to ALEC. As Deep Throat 
said in "All the President's Men", follow the money. Furthermore, there 
is some question as to Sanders's willingness to "go all the way". He has 
donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to DP candidates whose votes 
are strictly neoliberal.
