Actually, the opposite is more likely to be true - the White House
rapprochement with Iran will almost certainly lead to fewer Syrians being
killed, because there's growing momentum for a US-Russia-Iran deal to end
the anti-Assad part of the war. So there will actually be less war, as a
result of what the Democrats are doing, then you seem to want - you want
the war to continue until Assad is toppled, but Democrats increasingly want
to end the anti-Assad part of the war.
