Hello: I also agree that this this is an excellent idea. I would ask that whosoever organises it considers: the following points: (i) To incorporate a truely non-sectarian approach. by this I do of course mean, that those usually considered "beyond the pale" - but who argue they are within the Marxist orbit - be allowed some equal time. It will not surprise either Ravi, Yoshi, or Miahael P - that I do explicilty mean that those who have a different view of Stalin be enabled to voice it.
(ii) The instance of the MIA and its sectarian approach, suggests to me that DESPITE the overall good work of the Monthly Review - an independent forum is preferable. I am happy to discuss my experiences with MIA further should this be necessary. (iii) Exactly how, are the contrubiters to such a forum - to be 'picked' etc?
