I think the essential problem is not that "AI" isn't meaningful enough, or carries too much baggage, but that the domain it's supposed to cover is just too damn broad. If (and we should be so fortunate) there were modules under AI:: for doing all the different kinds of things that people who do "AI" do, it would be the largest namespace on CPAN, by far. -- John Douglas Porter
