I thought that was the version of YAML they're conforming to. "meta-spec" is
the META version.
meta-spec:
url: http://module-build.sourceforge.net/META-spec-v1.2.html
version: 1.2
PS If someone would check the metafile generated by MakeMaker 6.31 for 1.2
spec conformance I'd appreciate that.
