PPM and 'mismatched tag at line 9, column 2...'

I get this error when trying to install Win32::DriveInfo through PPM:

Install package 'win32-driveinfo?' (y/N): y
Retrieving package 'win32-driveinfo'...

mismatched tag at line 9, column 2, byte 612 at
C:/perl/site/lib/XML/Parser.pm line 183

(well, I get it with practically all modules, but this example holds)

I have build 522 and XML::Parser 2.28.0.0. Anybody have a way to fix this?
