Ermm... your slip is showing. There is a completely separate archive
for 5.6 modules. Many of the questions in the last few weeks have been
from people with the *opposite* problem: trying to download 5.005 modules
to use with 5.6, without noticing the separate archive.

Just a guess, but I don't believe there is *any* plan to merge the
two: they're built with different compiler directives and are
entirely incompatible. Look for the two archives to remain separate
until they've decided the stubborn among us (i.e., those who won't
move to 5.6 until it's at *least* 5.6.3 or so ;) ) have had enough
time to get all the modules we need, and the old archive is canned.
(Just kidding--I'm sure they'll leave the old archive around, it
just might be trickier to get to ;).)
