Hi, My 2 cents : I guess, in the end, if anyone's then it should be the vote of the PDL copyright holders or the original creators (the BDFLs) that matters, but perhaps voting for a logo is not the best strategy for choosing a logo.
PDL without a logo is probably better off than with a bad/inappropriate logo. With that caveat -- my logos are not great, but could they please be put up in the gallery for voting? If nothing, they would provide an alternative perspective.
