Hi all,

At home we’ve seen “more” cockroaches than we typically do. We live essentially
in the woods, so seeing one every so often wasn’t a surprise. My wife hasn’t
been a fan of seeing them, again, more often than usually. I told her I bet it
was due to the weather pattern and they were driven in! Thanks for confirming
and thanks for your initial post Mike!

Best,
Matt

Joel and Stephan, thank you both very much. That's a big relief. All the more
reason to seal up those gaps though.

Joel, we did actually have a very dry late spring this year, followed by some
heavy rain storms, so maybe that's what did it.

Cheers,
Mike

Probably an occasional invader. If there was a lot of rain or been really dry
they will migrate from outside in my experiences. JTV

Hi Michael,

I looks for me like the roaches-family „Ectobiinae„. Guest from outside (trees)

And not Germanica or Orentalis...

Hi,

I'm wondering if someone can confirm my fear that these are in fact a German
adult and two nymphs.

They were found in a loading dock area on three separate traps, in opposite
corners of the room, April 1 - July 1. The loading dock is part of a newly
refurbished building and has some leaky spots to the outside that we haven't
been able to address yet. I've been monitoring the space since the fall, and
this is the first I've seen of them.

Thanks,
Mike
