How about forming a web site development group from volunteers within
the group so that the finished product is truly group driven. That way
we can draw on a good base of skills and add in wiki's, forums, blogs or
whatever members feel they want from the site.
Just a thought.
My web developing skills are not great but I am more than happy to pitch in.
